Mother Teresa - Her life as a Poem: Life is a struggle

Mother Teresa is a phenomenon in the God's creation.
The poem 'LIFE' is well-known as a great quote from her wonderful sayings.
This is an attempt to understand what is LIFE and its interpretation from each line in that poem.

Here, I examine how 'Life is a struggle' and how to 'accept it'.

Life is a struggle, accept it.
Prayer was her strength
Her belief was her strength.

She accepted her life as a struggle for the upliftment of the poor and the destitute. She struggled to establish convents for the slum dwellers.

She struggled to find space to accommodate her adopted children whom she picked up from the dustbins of the streets of Calcutta. And she struggled to find the donors who could provide the money towards the maintenance of her expanding shelters for the destitute.

She accepted all the travails of establishing and organizing the shelters for the orphans and medical facilities for the grief-stricken patients she adopted. She could manage any number of orphans and destitutes with the help of the service-oriented nuns who joined her.

Why she struggled all her life?

Because, she knew there was happiness at the end of every struggle. And she went through struggle after another struggle only to strengthen her belief that any struggle was worth for the cause of the expected happiness that resulted in the lives of the poor and the abandoned.

Her heart never shrank under the weight of the magnitude of any effort she had undertaken for the betterment of the people who came under her shelter.

She was the true mother who always was ready to save the orphaned children and elderly, whoever it might had been irrespective of their religion or race.

All her struggle was only for the welfare of the world. She proved that a smile heals any struggling soul, and with unrequited love she embraced all the pain in achieving her goals.
